AARC and BRPT Approved Courses

David Asbury earned his Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy in 1998, and began working at several hospitals, durable medical equipment companies, and sleep labs in Louisiana and Virginia as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). He went on to obtain his Bacheor of Applied Science in 2014, and his Master’s of Mental Health Counseling in 2019. He obtained the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential in 2004, the Sleep Diagnostic Specialist (SDS) credential in 2014, the Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) in 2017, and the Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) in 2019. He began his career as an educator in 2009 and currently still teaches, as well as continues to work in the hospital and durable medical equipment fields. He has been a member of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), and the Louisiana Society for Respiratory Care (LSRC) including serving as a chapter president, LSRC President, and Board Member at Large. Also, he has given presentations at the LSRC annual educational meeting and has been involved in undergraduate research since 2013. He began CEUquest.net in 2024 to assist medical professionals obtain their continuing educational requirements for licensure.
